The Court held that there had been a violation of Article 3 (prohibition of inhuman or degrading treatment), Article 6(1) (right to a fair hearing) on account of the length of the proceedings, Article 8 (right to respect for private and family life), and Article 14 (prohibition of discrimination) taken in conjunction with Articles 6(1) and 8. The Court ordered that the seven applicants be provided with damages totaling 238,000 Euro. Individual awards ranged from 11,000 to 95,000 Euro. |
